Cushie Home is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.

2. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However, slight variations in color, materials, dimensions, or design may occur.

2.2 Assembly and Care

Some products require assembly. Customers are responsible for proper assembly following the provided instructions.

2.3 Availability

Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or limit quantities of any product at our discretion.

3. Orders

3.1 Order Confirmation

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. However, order acceptance is subject to stock availability, pricing accuracy, and order verification.

3.2 Pricing

Prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

3.3 Payment

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods listed on our website. Full payment is required at the time of order placement.

3.4 Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement, provided they have not yet shipped. To cancel an order, contact customer service at hello@cushiehome.com.

3.5 Errors and Order Adjustments

If an order is placed with incorrect pricing, product details, or other inaccuracies, Cushie Home reserves the right to cancel or modify the order. Customers will be notified, and any applicable refunds will be issued.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Times

Estimated delivery times are provided during checkout but are not guaranteed. Tracking details will be provided, and once an order is in transit, delays caused by the carrier are beyond our control.

4.2 Shipping Costs

Shipping fees vary based on location, item size, and shipping method. Any additional charges (e.g., customs duties or remote delivery fees) are the customer’s responsibility.

4.3 Damaged or Lost Shipments

If an item is damaged or lost during shipping, contact customer service within three business days with supporting documentation (e.g., photos, tracking details).

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 30-Day Challenge Return Policy

To ensure a full adjustment period, we require customers to use their Cushie Sleeper Sofa for a minimum of 30 days before initiating a return.

  • Returns are accepted between days 30 and 60 of the trial period.
  • Returns requested before 30 days will incur a $350 handling and pick-up fee to cover reverse logistics costs.
  • Returns must be in good condition, with reasonable wear and tear accepted. Significant damage or excessive wear may affect return eligibility.
5.2 How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, contact customer service at hello@cushiehome.com within the eligible return window. Our team will guide you through the return process.

5.3 Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and processed through Shopify within seven business days of receiving the returned item. Bank processing times may vary, typically taking seven to ten business days.

6. Condition of Returned Products

To maintain a sustainable product lifecycle, we aim to donate returned sleeper sofas whenever possible.

  • Minor signs of use are acceptable.
  • Sofas must be free from major stains, structural damage, or excessive wear.
  • All original components, including cushions and covers, must be included.

In some locations, donation options may not be available. If no charity can accept the return, we will recycle or responsibly dispose of the product in accordance with our sustainability practices.

7. Color Disclaimer

We strive to present our products accurately; however, slight variations may occur due to:

  • Device display differences – screen settings, lighting conditions, and viewing angles may affect color perception.
  • Material and batch variations – natural fibers absorb dyes differently, leading to subtle discrepancies.
  • Lighting and environment – colors may appear different in various lighting conditions.
  • Fabric placement – patterns and textures may vary based on production.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these variations.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Cushie Home is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product use or inability to use our website.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product.
